Hello ATMC Members! Looking for some opinions and feedback on your experiences with different LMS products.
For those that are not familiar with I-CAR, we develop and deliver technical training to the collision repair industry in collaboration with the OEM's, Insurance Companies, and Collision Repair Shops. We have licensed partners in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand that deliver a mix of our training material and material that they develop locally.
We have an association management system (AMS) that has been in place for ~15 years and is estimated to be customized on the order of 80% to meet our specific needs. This is made possible because we have access to the code and we have programmers on staff. The good news is that almost anything is possible, but the bad news is that it ALL requires development time because there is no out of the box LMS capability.
We are considering an LMS implementation and I thought this group would be a good sounding board for feedback and user experience on different LMS systems.
We are developing our course material in an LCMS (Kenexa by IBM) and they are currently communicating using an AICC protocol with the AMS, but SCORM is still an option for us.
Looking forward to any input you can share - good or bad. Any questions, please ask.
Thanks!!!
